 Cinderella Castle - Fantasyland - Disney's Magic Kingdom The majestic Cinderella Castle serves as the centerpiece of Disney’s Magic Kingdom . In fact, each of the theme park’s seven enchanted lands – Main Street U. S.A. , Adventureland , Frontierland , Liberty Square , Fantasyland , Mickey’s Toontown Fair and Tomorrowland – radiate out from the castle like spokes on a wheel The tallest structure in Disney’s Magic Kingdom and one of the theme park’s original attractions when it opened its doors in 1971, Cinderella Castle is 189 feet high ( Space Mountain is a close second at 183 feet). The castle was modeled on a traditional French-style chateau and features a moat and 18 towers, as well as 13 gargoyles. Stroll through the main hall of the castle and view the story of Cinderella on five intricate murals. A “Once Upon a Time” character breakfast takes place at the elegant Cinderella’s Royal Table (originally known as King Stefan’s Banquet Hall), which also serves lunch and dinner (reservations are requested). Cinderella Royal Table is located on the second floor of Cinderella Castle and features stained glass windows and dozens of coats of arms on display. Cinderella Castle is also an ideal locale for spotting Disney characters throughout the day. Shopping opportunities located near Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland include Fantasy Fair , Sir Mickey’s and Tinker Bell’s Treasures .

Victorian Castles: Functional or fantasy
 Above the entrance is a sculpture of the Madonna and child, the only relief to a stark grey interior and a sign of the Marquise of Bute's Catholicism. Inside is a small, and what could be described as quaint, courtyard. Up a flight of steps is a covered walkway that curves round the inside of the castle walls at first floor level and immediately gives the impression of being in a European castle. Looking up at the towers the compact design of the castle becomes apparent with various architectural features and projections squashed into the limited space. The Interiors of Castell Coch The interiors take a major step away from the cold exterior. Some are elaborately decorated in realms of pure fantasy. The drawing room contains murals of Aesop's fables painted on the walls round the room. Above, depictions of branches containing monkeys and squirrels reach to a gallery level. Above the gallery is a vaulted ceiling with a night sky of stars and birds painted between the supporting ribs. Lady Bute's bedroom has French; Gothic and Moorish influences intermixed with pure fantasy.
